A tray is one of the accessories that a table setting cannot do without. It is used at public catering establishments, in canteens, cafes and restaurants. Suitable for serving bedridden patients, creating a romantic atmosphere in the morning and serving breakfast in bed.
Tray types
These kitchen and table accessories are presented in three types:
- serving;
- breakfast trays;
- decorative and interior.
They differ in size, shape, material. They have subspecies that expand the functions of accessories:
- Serving bowls are widely used in the preparation of feasts associated with solemn events.
- For parties, traditional trays are used, on which dishes are carried, as well as multi-level trays. Large trays are convenient when organizing a "smorgasbord". Snacks, sandwiches, fruits, sweets, desserts are placed on them. At weddings, they are used for cakes and other treats.
- Trays for restaurants differ in material and price. Fast food establishments use a large number of inexpensive products. In more solid and respectable restaurants - more expensive. Available in classic and modern versions.
- Decorative ones are used to introduce an element of originality into the interior.
Breakfast trays can be of the simplest design: traditionally shaped, inexpensive material for serving food in bed. But they are usually performed in the form of a table of a more complex design:
- with handles for easy and safe carrying;
- legs for easy installation;
- with sides to prevent slipping of food and drinks;
- with folding top or legs.
Additionally, they can be equipped with a hinged lid, drawers.
