Chocolate and cocoa products

Cocoa and hot chocolate based on it are tasty and healthy drinks. They are especially good in the cold season, when it is important not only to quench thirst and hunger, with which cocoa does an excellent job, but also to warm up, replenish strength. Cocoa is good. It reduces the risks of cardiovascular diseases, normalizes blood pressure, has an antidiabetic effect, reduces the severity of symptoms of asthma and other pulmonary diseases.

Cocoa and hot chocolate are represented by a wide variety of products:

  • Portion sachets with dry composition - with cocoa, sugar, milk powder. It is enough to stir a portion of the powder in a glass of hot water or hot milk to get fragrant chocolate.
  • Cocoa powder or liquor, plain, alkalized or not. In addition to making drinks, it can be used to give baked goods the taste and aroma of chocolate. Alkalized beans are treated with alkali to reduce acidity. It softens the taste.
  • Hot chocolate in a jar or soft pack in powder form. Cooking proportions are indicated on the packaging, you can measure the right amount of cocoa with a spoon.

Cocoa is useful for those who are on a diet. The main thing is that the product does not contain sugar, then its calorie content will not exceed 460 kcal per 100 g. But hot chocolate is a high-calorie drink (up to 880 kcal per 100 g, depending on the composition), so you should not use it too often.
